Other Etruscan
Inspired Pieces
The Traditional Etruscan/Roman Bracelet pictured above is probably from the 1st or 2nd century A.D. The bracelet has gemstone beads woven into a tightly knit chain. The ends of the bracelet hook into loops on the center-bezeled-set stone.
As with all my contemporized
Etruscan pieces, I try to reinterpet the traditional jewelry-design
vernacular into something with more contemporary touches and flourishes.
One example of a contemporized piece, with reference to the Traditional
Etruscan/Roman Bracelet, is my Etruscan Square Stitch Bracelet.
